The countdown has ended at ilovebees.com and been replaced by the phrase "transmitting" with a link to the groups of GPS coordinates on the links page.
As the PDT time for each "axon" goes by, the links page lists two from each group of seven as "hot", and then the title for that group links to an audio file. So far, jersey is the first audio file revealed. It appears to be a dialogue between characters in the story so far.
UPDATE: Indications are so far that the theory that the locations would receive a call at a pay phone seem to be correct. sfsdfd in the Unfiction forum says that a someone calls a pay phone at the location and plays a recording. It then asks you to tell her the name of the caller. If you don't guess in 20 seconds, it hangs up.
UPDATE: There is no Halo 2 demo. Bungie already said there wasn't going to be, and that they won't even think about it until after the retail version of the game is out on November 9. So stop asking!

Who is "everyone"? You mean "everyone but Bungie", right, who denied already that there is any Halo 2 demo, news we posted on our front page more than once?
Guys... this game has nothing to do with any Halo 2 demo, or any fictional Halo 2 early release. Halo 2 is coming out on November 9. That's it. This ILB thing is an amusing diversion and a PR stunt. If playing it is fun for you, go ahead. But don't go building unrealistic expectations based on unfounded rumors and then get upset when you don't get what Bungie already said you weren't going to get.
