A few small changes have been made to the site today.
In the forum, avatars are now supported for registered users, bbcode is supported in forum topics and comments; graphical smilies are supported, and three nested tables have been replaced by a single table. There are also icons to indicate new and popular threads in the forum index.
We are beginning a process of removing the awkward "node/view/XX" URLs that are generated by our content management system and replacing them with "/name" URLs that are easier to remember and link to. This can probably only be done with permanent site features.
For instance, Frankie's updates are now located at http://rampancy.net/halo2updates and the movies page is at http://rampancy.net/halomovies which should be a lot more convenient to deal with.
On the front page, we've also cleaned up the tables a little. Hopefully this looks a little better. :-D

Note
I don't know if it's related to this, but I just noticed there is a border around the logo and rampancy.net pictures in the top left corner in Mozilla Firefox.

Same on IE.
In reply to: NoteI see a yellow border thing around the logos, and I'm running IE. I don't think it has anything to do with the browser; it might be in the code. One symbol off can cause a lot of damage sometimes.
Never knew what hit 'em.

Will be removed
In reply to: Same on IE.Just yesterday a user request I make the rampancy.net logo clickable and link to the front page. The href tag doesn't specify whether or not the linked image should have a border. Some browsers add one by default (IE, etc) and others don't (Safari).
Should be removed by the time you read this.
