As if to confirm our original suspicions, we got another copy of the "you've won an Xbox" mail from another domain, this time prizebounty.com. IANAL, but this one spells S-C-A-M to me.
i absolutely hate these people, and i doubt that anyone who sends anything to these people should be warned
that is why i offer this advice
if this even appears to be real, then use www.escrow.com, they will hold the money until the received merchandice is inspected by the purchaser
the reason i say this is i get and find offers for abnormally cheap computers (a power mac g5 with just about everything selling for $2200, when the same maching through apple is $13000...), i said i would purchase, but only through escrow
result, i never got an email back...
so, the one way to scare scam artists is to use escrow.com
when they see that url in a message, they never bother you again...

Got the same offer. No giftstakes.com site is available that I can find. Anyone else out there heard anything about this?
