I really got tired of playing as the arbiter in halo 2 I mean yeah I was intrested in the story but it took away from the human side of the story I think instaid of being the arbiter you should have benn able to be some of the spartan IIIs on Onyx beacause that could have opened the door to another series one not based on Master Chief but on the next generation. By the way the Spartan IIIs are in the book ghosts of Onyx those of you who dont know.

Myself, I appreciated the Arbiter's story. I don't know if they'll continue with it. But I think SIIIs are out-- Bungie isn't going to make reading the books a prerequisite for understanding the Halo 3 story, and there's too much material there to cover

I know but you do haft to admit it would put a good spin on the halo series

I don't think Bungie wants to tell the story of the other previously declared dead Spartans from a spin off fiction story. It could be possible that they might be included in the Halo 3 story, but I don't think games based on other "Master Chiefs" would settle very well with the gaming community. I don't think it took away from the Human story. It told both sides, it was lacking on the human side, but not to terribly bad. I wouldn't mind a cameo of the Arbiter or playing as him, it's cool and fun playing as an Elite on that side, but I thinkt hey should change his appearance/armor, it looked retarded.

his levels were just boring to much flood and not enough gun fun plus your right it took away from the story line i think a "bigger" field of gaming should be in halo 3 (i know halo wars) with more space to move around and less building fights

thank you if they wanted to have the player play as the Arbiter they should have made it where they either came with two versions of the game or let you choose what story you wanted to play on second thought two versions of the game wouldn't be good for live.

i, for one, actually liked the arbiter as a character, despite the flood-infested levels.

oh and, by the way, considering the (more-or-less) cliffhanger ending of onyx, that may be what Mr. Peter Jackson is going to be basing his future series of Halo-Style video games on.

just a thought
