Beating "the maw" and "keys" i have not done but i know 3 of my good friends who have and they say it's not veary hard when you take it step by step, stay calm, know how to take out the enemy the right way with the right weapon. i just about beaten it on legendary by using those steps.
all levels are easy if you just get really use to the game and and fire really fast like using the guns really fast. try using alot of surroundings and vehicals
Primarily take your time. Use all weapons till their spent and try and stick with human weapons. Especially in the cafeteria where there are 2 hunters and heaps of elites in the Maw.
Like the others have said, take your time. Hopefully you've figured out that the shotgun kicks ass against the Flood, plasma wipes out sentinals and to a lesser degree the covenant, and a single pistol to the back kills hunters. One of the most important things abut beating levels on legendary without taking hours upon hours is to fight small groups, and also to run past enemis that are fighting such as the Flood and Covenant, and ingnore them unless they start shooting at you. On the Maw, try charging to places where the Flood are spawning, and they'll stop spawning (if you can survive).
