Phantom Cockpit

Although his image file's title seemed to indicate that these Elites are inside a Wraith tank, it is much too large inside to be a Wraith, which holds only one Elite. In fact, post-release it became apparent that this is actually the inside of a Phantom dropship.

Drones (Yanme'e)

The insectoid Covenant Drone can fly and uses a variety of weapons. Frankie in particular made mention of them using weapons like the Carbine and sniping from high areas, but advised players to attack them in the air because they're even more dangerous when on the ground. Weapons with recoil, like the SMG and the battle rifle, are expected to be more effective than others against drones because the recoil will help track overflying units. The Halo 2 manual refers to Drones' ability to fly as "limited", relying on anti-gravity assistance, but also says they use this ability to gain an "almost insurmountable strategic advantage." Crazy King on Ascension

A Banshee approaches the high central area of the multiplayer map, Ascension. Most, if not all, of Halo 2's multiplayer maps are expected to be in settings similar to locations from the campaign mode.

Ascension has indoor and outdoor areas.

The Crazy King game mode is a variation on King of the Hill where the location of the hill moves randomly at intervals during the game.

New Covenant?

This image appeared on Sculptech Studios' website on the Halo 2 page. It might be an as-yet-unseen Covenant species. It was later removed.

Luckily, Halo Planet snagged it. Sculptech lists both Microsoft Game Studios, makers of Halo, and Joyride Studios, manufacturers of Halo toys, as clients. It could be from another client... except he's holding a plasma rifle. From the head, it could be a Prophet, outside his chair, and without its robes... but it doesn't look "frail". A bunch of people at HBO contributed to finding this.
