I've got to say that the last few days have probably been the greatest fun I've ever had on the Internet, and especially as a webmaster. :::Noc scratches his implants:::
I enjoy the Bungie community more than I have any other group I've ever hung out with, and the stuff I saw in the old Core's forum yesterday is one of the best examples why. I was determined to give you guys a real challenge yesterday, but I'm sorry if perhaps I made that puzzle a little too obscure... I was actually getting a little concerned for awhile there, but you managed to work things out with only two or three percent site integrity left!
R.Net isn't completely converted over yet... as Rex mentioned, we'll likely have a few aftereffects of the rebirth to correct in the next while, along with assimilating content into the new design.
You'll doubtless notice the new banner sooner or later. ( Hey! A banner! ) Well, that's largely because it can be difficult to take great gobs of time away from work, family, school and life in general in order to bring you a competitive website. I hope you'll not hold it against us.
Rex deserves more of the credit for recent developments, since he has done the coding work behind both the crash and the new site. I kept the news going, pursued some pieces of content, frolicked in the forum with you and constantly nitpicked the hell out of his efforts.
Thank you all for the great time we've been having, and I'll give my best to make sure we bring the best news, rumors, features and rampant speculation to the Bungie fan community that we can.
