You would have to have been living in a cave to not have heard of the big developer poll at Voodoo Extreme. All other developers appear to have fallen behind, with Blizzard and Bungie fans locked in mortal combat for the title. The difference between the two has remained somewhat fewer than an hundred votes at any given time and Jester reports to us that Voodoo Extreme has temporarily extended the voting period. It's far too close to tell whom is going to win and we won't get a recount, so if you haven't gone to express your preference (hopefully Bungie) then go vote!
Update: This has just been brought to my attention from VE:

I just hit refresh a few times in a row and Bungie went up 35 votes?--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

dont worry, any votes that were gained by ill-means (multiple votes, scripts) will be eliminated after we look through the logs.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

BAM! and Octane takes the sickle to Bungie for cheating...Well it appears that some less than scrupulous methods used by some doubtless well-meaning Bungiefen have cost us the vote. Newer posts to that thread indicate that they may also be finding such cheating on the Blizzard side of the fence. I guess there'll be a recount after all? Sheesh, deja vu! I could have sworn I'd experienced something like this before...
Update II: Heh, the votes are in and Bungie got - get this - two votes! ;-) We've lost out to Looking Glass. Even though they no longer exist, methinks there's nobody I'd rather lose out to more.
Update III: The recount is in progres... stay tuned.
