Here's the evidence:
Dan Rudolph pointed out on Oni Central's forum that ign.com's official PS2 launchlist doesn't contain Oni. ign's article does list Oni as sure to arrive after launch day and before year's end 2000; however, Johnny Law has posted a link on our forum to a GA-Source news blurb, which says that Gathering of Developers will release Oni on all platforms on the second week of January 2001. Sad news, if true; but we know it's well worth waiting for.
