Kudos to the multiple people who have pointed out 15 new Oni screenshots at Adrenaline Vault. Possibly of more interest, though is the caption that goes along with them, quoted here for your reading delight:

It should be noted that the basic hand-to-hand combat moves demonstrated here are mere droplets in an ocean of potential moves and combos. The Adrenaline Vault will bring its readers more details about Oni in a future hands-on account. The title, which is in the final stages of production, is scheduled for release on the PC, Macintosh and PS2 on Jan. 29, 2001.

Does this mean we have a release date? Some very interesting things to see in those screenshots, and as I'm sure the beta testers are just dying to point out, they're even more interesting in motion.
