  2. Washington Post Likes Oni's Mix Of Melee And Anime

Fri, 02/02/2001 - 00:15 by narcogen

David Bricker on Rampancy Hotline found yet another review of Oni while surfing the quantum foam that is cyberspace, and it seems as if the institution that helped bring down a president (meaning Nixon and not Clinton for the youths in the audience) has a soft spot for the world-domination-crazed Bungie and their games. Here's a short excerpt from the short item at the Post:

Our only complaint would be the game's difficulty level: The enemies' fighting abilities are a bit too keen, especially when they fight in groups and come packing projectile weapons, to let Konoko survive for very long. This is good news for veteran gamers but bad news for newcomers intrigued by Oni's style and looks. Bottom line: John Woo would be proud.

Now, if only Konoko had been around when special prosecutors were being interviewed.
