The folks at MacGamer had much praise to offer for Myth III. Apparently, they were appalled at its quality.
Speaking of the graphics, they are mind-blowing good. Gone are two-dimensional items, everything is polygonal. This gets rid of any of the pixel problems that you would notice in the first two games. Each character model is made up of around 400 polygons, with such high detail that when you zoom in on one, and you can make out eyebrows if you look closely. The shadows in Myth: The Wolf Age made our collective jaws drop. Because of the way they were added to the game, there is no need for hardware acceleration. Therefore, despite what system you are on, youТll be getting the same high quality shadows that high-end computers have.
