A busy day for Marathon news. Just recieved this PR from Pfhor, announcing another alternative future course for Marathon's evolution:

Newly formed Team Unpfhorgiven is pleased to announce their upcoming MOD project for Unreal Tournament; Marathon: Resurrection. Recreating the awesome multiplayer gaming, the engrossing storyline, and the vivid fear created in Bungie Software's original Marathon, packed into the Unreal Tournament engine, utilizing all the latest graphic and gaming enhancements possible for a highly revitalized experience.

The PR goes on to describe Marathon's history a bit, for the sake of those who are not yet familiar with it. And, of course, lots of information can be had at their website. We wish them best of luck on this project (can't think of a better reason to pick up a copy of UT now, actually).
