That's right... TTI now owns about 80% of GOD. The Gathering of Developers, that is. GOD sought to help independent game developers by acting as a central publishing house, and have been a hot news item in the computer gaming world for some time because of it. However, between lower-than-projected sales, delays and long development cycles on the games they're publishing, they've been hurting financially.
This is an interesting development because GOD was founded to help developers that are much like Bungie used to be. Also because Take Two owns 19.9% of Bungie Software. GOD publishes for 3D Realms (Duke Nukem), Epic (Unreal) and still plans to publish The Blair Witch Project, Heavy Metal: FAKK2 ad KISS: Psycho Circus (Some of these may actually be interesting games, despite their titles).
