I was talking to one of my buddies last night and we got into an argument about what types of maps would be cool to add to halo 2. I said one map should come with bots alredy on the level ones that you cant modify such as difficulty or teams. I dont know about you but i like a challenging game of capture the flag with 3 on 1. another thing would be every thing on the map is destructible because I hate it when snipers decide to hide out for the whole game behind a rock or a wall this way youcan grab a rocket launcher and blow a hole through there cover and fill em full of lead! another type of levle would be a flood infested sentinal factory it would be nice to see sentinals battle the flood at the same time they are both after you. these are just some of my thoughts on maps that i think would be cool and i just wanted to share my ideas.

Lots of players have asked about bots; they are unlikely ever to be in Halo because of the close interaction between Halo's AI and level design.

those ideas are good, just not realistic. -bots are no fun. they are either way too good, or way too stupid, and bungie would not put them into halo because it is a multiplayer game and you should learn to interact with people over live and get good on teams that way. everyone plays differently. -completely destructable invironments are super, super hard to code, model, give physics to and so on. the loading times would be disgusting, and it wouldnt play as well or look as good. it would be fun to blow the crap out of everything but it just wouldnt work. (the game Black will have that though, so well see how that goes.) But, you can crouch walk, so sneak up on the sniper, throw a 'nade at his feet and watch him die. easy. -the sentinel factory is basically colossus, but without the fighting. it would be really annoying, and in those games you already have enough to worry about with everyone attacking you with BR's. for interactivity though, you want things like in backwash, where the monitor is floating around, not killing you. it would be a nuicance. just some points:)
