Here we see the effects of extreme lag. The player on the left is shooting at me. No doubt I am still on his screen, while on mine, I am already around the corner. Note the shield flash indicating that I have been hit, despite the fact that on screen I would appear to be behind the wall; the spray of bullets from the gun also indicate that in order to hit me from the current location, the projectiles have to pass through this wall.
