Halo 2 ground assault
Why do you see the need to post this in a freakin' blog???
First of all, if you read the Fall of Reach (I haven't but I checked my sources), you would know that the Covenant have the capabilties of devastating a planet by what they call "glassing." The glassing involves heating the planet's surface to the point where nothing can survive, not even a SPARTAN II (which is what the Master Chief is, if you didn't know). So the do have the technology needed to the humans.
Second, yeah, the game would suck if the Covenant didn't land, but there are reasons for it which is what the forums are for: debating the reasons. Don't waste the Blog space for stupid crap like this.
