Halo was an Xbox exclusive.
Until it was ported to the PC.
Halo 2 was an Xbox exclusive.
Until it was ported to the PC.
Halo 3 will be an Xbox 360 exclusive.
Until someone decides that Halo 3's made all the 360 converts it can, and it gets ported to the PC to make more revenue.

Lucky. my parents won't even let me ( as of now anyway) play Halo on the computer. I did have halo 2 and an Xbox for a while but then my Mom found out that it was Halo 2 (and the main menu says Halo 2 all the time, wow) and took it away

They don't sell Xbox Live in Africa anywhere that I'm aware of, except perhaps the Emirates.
Ditto for Russia, I think, although I thought I read about an official launch there last year.
Piracy is always an issue in some of these regions.

I'll second the Emirates; right after the Beta introduced its BTB hopper I was matched with 7 students at the university there. It was kinda weird/nifty listening to Arabic conversation over the team channel. (And then the game broke up after intolerable lag. *shrug* Oh well, it was cool while it lasted.)
For the longest time there were player-dots showing up in South Africa, I think around Johannesburg and Pretoria. I don't remember seeing any in Mombasa, and believe me I was looking.

I expect so. They wouldn't be mobile users-- the ip to cc library they're using probably doesn't have any information on mobile users.

I think this map is not real. There really would be more Halo players in Australia, for example.

Not really. But Russia is either not an XBL zone, or was only recently made one; hence no users.
Nearly every Xbox 360 I've seen for sale in the CIS was an import, and most are hacked and so can't be used on XBL, so even people who bought those units to play Halo 3 aren't online and so don't show up here.

This shows the two great super powers of this world: Europe and the USA. The only diffrence is that the USA citizens don't have thier guns taken away by the socialist infested European countries, like the UK. If some of the EU dislikes guns so much, why not ban Halo for it is pure guns and action, like America. I would love to see, say... France compete in some kind of international team slayer match against the USA. All I know is that it's not a war unless France is involved.
