Over the last 24 hours I've updated Rampancy.net from Drupal 4.7 to the latest 5.2. To the best of my knowledge, no features have been lost-- drop me a line if something seems broken.
If you look at the top of the page, you'll see the new spoiler system. For years we've tagged items as "spoilers" on the site, but nothing was ever done with that information. Now, the default front page view will include no spoilers, and you can click on a link to change that setting; you can choose to eliminate Halo 3 spoilers, Halo 1 & 2 spoilers, or to view all spoilers.
In the future we hope to have this be a setting the user can select once and then forget about, but with Halo 3 gone gold and the risk of serious spoilers becoming available at any moment, it seemed better to implement an imperfect feature then allow another Halo release to go by without any spoiler control at all.
Please note, this ONLY applies to the front page; if you do a search, spoilers may appear in the search results; spoilers may also appear in RSS feeds.
The downside to this is that if you registered an account or posted a comment or blog entry during that time, I'm afraid you'll have to do it again; it took longer than expected to get the new database in place, so changes made on the old site after the process began were not transferred to the new one.
Drupal 5 has a special 'offline' mode for use during upgrades so that will be the last time this happens; I apologize for any inconvenience.

In reply to: Re: Drupal 5 Upgrade CompleteWell, the *look* is pretty much the same. The font is a bit smaller. The changes are mostly under the hood. For instance, the image galleries are going to get an overhaul shortly; they'll use the same engine as the trick database and the movie database.
Some features will be lost, like the single preview image for each of the galleries on the top level.
However, lots will be gained-- you'll be able to select multiple galleries for simultaneous viewing, sort and filter images by album, game, date added, author, and title-- none of which can be done now.
There's also a huge suite of "userpoints" features I'm toying with. And the display of bloggers has changed-- instead of just the latest entries, there's a page that shows all bloggers and the number of posts; in addition to that I'm going to add a block that shows the last ten non-front-page items; sort of like a newspaper's "page two" feature.
Kick the tires, write a blog entry!
