Ryan "Mhaddy" Matthews of The Junkyard writes that Dan Chosich of 2070Films (who is clearly trying to make this Dan Choisch Day) inquired with the makers of Monster Cables about whether they'd be making DVI or HDMI cables for the hi-def, next-gen consoles. So far the answer seems to be that there are no such plans. Thanks vector40 for the link.
(This may be a case of diminishing returns. Compared to the crappy composite, S-video, or even component cables that ship with most consoles or are sold at places like Radio Shack, most HDMI and DVI cables are already made for high fidelity applications like home theater or for use with computers; the gap in quality between those and what Monster would make might not justify an upgrade. We'll see; Monster may just not have announced anything yet--Ed.)
