Specialty Trick

Has anyone pulled the trick on AotCR on one of the suspension bridges, where u knock the Shade turret down, onto a lil ledge, an while its falling.. hop in, an get to the bottom w/o becoming dead?? |

AotCR trick
I tried many times but was never able to pull it off.
I do seem to recall accounts at other sites (HBO, halo.bungie.org, currently down due to slight technical problems) that people had claimed to do so.

:i have completed the task before. except i did it without using the
:turret. its very hard to explain , but ther are a serise of ledges
:that you can jump down onto. i did it in co-op play so that when i
:died(like 500 times) i would be respawned next to my bud, that
:followed me on these series of ledges

you know when you spin the control stick when jumping in the wharthog and you land with out flippin? Maybe if you do the same with the Shade it will work. I never cared to try though.

Okay, I am sure you have jumped off a jump in halo before with a wharthog. Well if you just go straight you are likely to flip over on the way down to land. A great way to land perfect is to turn the direction(contrtol) stick as if you where turning, when doing this in the air you will land decently (their is also a video of it at halo.bungie.org in the movies section)What I am saying is do the same with the stationary gun
