Back when Halo was first announced, there were hints of a persistent, online world. Last year at GDC, Bungie's own Joseph Staten hinted at such a thing. Now it seems like this year's GDC presentation by David Aldridge may have tipped Bungie's hand; the company is reportedly making a massively multiplayer action game. Since Microsoft now owns Halo and 343 Industries is shepherding it, it remains to be seen what setting this game will exist in.

Remember Moonshot Games? I know, I know... I'm lucky if I can remember what I did yesterday, but Moonshot Games is the outfit founded by Bungie alumni Michael Bastien, Damián Isla and Rob Stokes.

I am a cellist in a beginning 6th grade orchestra. By this I mean only Violins, Violas, Cellos, and Double Basses. I was wandering if anyone could arrange the main Halo Theme but for the seperate instruments. I mean, you might as well have only your part in the sheet music so it doesn't waste paper. Am I right? Well, if anyone that is reading this someone that can put that together with some software. I would appreciate it.
Three veterans of Bungie LLC (née Bungie Studios, née Bungie Software) are forming a new venture: Moonshot Games. Moonshot was founded by former Halo producer Michael Bastien, Bungie AI programmer Damián Isla and Halo 3 designer/writer Rob Stokes. Also on board is artist Mike McCain.
The company's site says they are going into a quiet period, but will be focusing on the production of "high-quality downloadable games". No word yet on platform or genre.

A small database glitch caused us to restore from a backup made a few days ago-- if you've submitted something to the site, or registered an account in the past few days, you may want to check and either re-submit or re-register.
