Wondering where h.b.org has gone? Wonder no more! Claude Errera wrote to inform me that the site has moved again, this time to http://129.95.74.55/. Another temporary stop due to server problems, but holding.

And while you're there, check out the MYNY Demo movies MacObserver has provided them--a very nice 35 meg version, and an economy 3 meg version.

Whilst aimlessly meandering around the web, I stopped in to take a look at the Videogames.com poll, which asks which of Bungie's games you'd most like to see ported to a console (a very suspicious question, if you ask me).

To my dismay (I never thought I'd say this...), Myth II is in the lead! Followed by Oni! Halo fans, unite! And go vote too!

game:

More site than Halo related: Badlands, currently hosted by the Core, has posted details on two new projects, Dorfball and the Civil War. Both are new twists on the Myth II theme (one is a TC, and the other is just silly), and are destined for a not so distant future release. Stop by, take a look, and stay tuned for the releases.

Blatantly stolen from Marathon's Story comes the IP address for halo.bungie.org, http://129.95.74.79/halo. That should do the trick until their DNS problems are resolved.

Speaking of h.b.org, they're reporting on a Videogames.com poll about porting Bungie games to consoles... hmm, I wonder which one will win... swing by and check it out.

Gary Simmons, aka Battle Cat, sends word that bungie.org is moving, and there will be a bit of downtime:

Carch raised this on the forum, and since I'll be unable to attend due to an imminent family reunion, I thought I'd do what I could to aid the cause.

Tonight, at 9:00pm BST, the final CP Brigade Bash will be occuring on b.net. To all of you FoP readers out there, join your comrades and aid them in crushing the Plaid this one last time! And to you non-FoP readers, go and cheer them on anyway. I think Carch put it best: CRUSH THE PLAID OPPRESSORS !

Another new site has opened for you Halo addicts: Halocination, a mixed news and resource site with one of the coolest names I've heard yet. A bit thin on the content at the moment, but what new site isn't? One of keep an eye on.

game:

A number of online magazines have posted articles reporting on yesterday's TTWO deal, several of which answer a number of questions about the deal. Alas, these same questions are repeated over and over, and are the same ones as were posted in the forum. This list will be updated as more come in (thanks to all who have mailed in these ones):

game:

Many thanks to Hamish, who pointed out several notes and comments about about the two mystery projects mentioned in yesterday's TTWO announcement. Among these include some from Bungie's Matt Soell, and discussion about a third project... stop by Marathon's Story and check it out.

In response to the thread on the topic, Case has posted a snippet from Bungie's Official Q&A on the forum, covering such topics as why Bungie did it and what their plans are for console games.
