YES!!! Finally, the H3 commercial airs. I know that I'm not the first person to update on it, but I don't care. Finally!!! I thought that it was very, very, very, very, very good. No, that doesn't cover it. It was AWESOME!!! Dang, that still don't cover it. Oh, well. Anyway, I know everyone here has seen it, and I am almost positive that everyone liked it BIG TIME. That was probably the best sixty seconds of my life. And if it wasn't, then I don't know what was. I have seen it probably around thirty or thirty-one times now, and I am still amazed every time. The graphics were terrific! I understand that the graphics were CG, and that the game won't really look that good, but it will still look a crapload better than Halo 2. Not that Halo 2 looked really bad, I mean, it was actually one of the best looking games on the Xbox. Even though most of it wasn't even representing gameplay, this game will easily make Game Of The Year for 2007, I believe is when it comes out, correct me if I'm wrong.

The music was even some of the best I've heard from Marty thus far. The fanfare for the E3 trailer was fairly good, but it really wasn't changing any music, and it barely added any new music, either. The best part of it was the piano part. But this music I am completely satisfied with. I just hope someone can transcribe it soon. The reason I can't do it is because I really suck at transcribing music. I tried to transpose "A Walk in the Woods" for my viola, and it ended up sounding horrible. I can play better than anyone I know, I just CAN NOT write or transcribe music. At all. Period. End of story. Anyway, I just really hope one of this sites good transcribers can do it soon. If not, that's ok, I know they have a life.

I was also wondering why sometimes no one responds to some of my blog entries. Is it because they are boring? Or that no one likes how I write? Should I go all emo and start cutting myself? Ok, maybe that last one was a bit extreme... but still! I can't believe that in an entire week no one responded to this entry. I mean, really!

Once again I have a few question for Narcogen or anyone that knows thi answers to the following questions. Narcogen, are you the owner/founder of this site? If so, How long has this site existed for? Please someone answer those two questions I have been wondering about that for quite a while now.

I am going to end my blog entry here, so hopefully I will talk to you all soon!

I dont know why people do not respond to all of your blogs but I bet people read them. Anyway I do not know if Narcogen is the owner of the site. As for how old the site is.......... I'll take a wild guess and say 7 years. I am also a fan of the Fanfare and apparently who isnt? I have transcribed the piano part of the trailer and I am working on a way to send it to the site because for some reason I cant email it. Also it is only for piano and not viola. So sorry. I can give you the right hand notes on the piano and maybe you could figure it out from there. They are "B" "D" "C sharp" then "A" "B". Good luck on making it sound right!

I forgot to mention-- the site did turn 7 years old this year. The original version, The Core, launched on May 26, 1999, the same day HBO opened for news posting (the "blam" forum had been open before that).

It is ok that you dont have the viola part because it is easy to transpose, but thanks any way.

Looks like the owners/creators of the site are Malory, Ferrix, and Narcogen although I am not sure I just checked and they are the first blogs and are able to update the site so I am guessing they created it. Although the only one we are still in contact with from seven yeras back is Narcogen so I consider him the current owner of Rampancy. Or Narcogen is there other people involved with the making of this site???

The founders of "The Core" were Malory and Ferrex.

Noctavis and I originally started on a site to be called "Halo News" but then I left the country and Noctavis joined up with Rex on the Core.

Later, the Core renamed itself Rampancy (the core didn't have its own domain name) and I and others (including SiliconDream) came on staff.

Ferrex, of course, joined Bungie proper sometime later, and real-life concerns post-buyout drew Noctavis and the others out of the community, so for the last few years, at least on a "full-time" basis, it's just me.

I still use the royal "we" sometimes when writing posts because even though those guys aren't writing news for the site, it wouldn't be here if it weren't for them, so I still feel like Rampancy is more of a group effort.
