So I tried downloading the Halo Theme Orchestra Edition for our school's orchestra, but I've been having problems with .RAR files. They will not open with Finale Notepad. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions to what would be compatible for that file.

If you're on windows, look for WinRar. If you're on Mac, just double-clicking it should decompress it.

RAR is a compressed archive like ZIP, you can't open it directly in Finale.

Another option is to use tugzip, with is free ware and if your like me (some one who prefers to use free ware over pirated things or programs that let you continually use it after the "trial" period ends) I recommend you check it out.
