We haven't really mentioned it here before-- because we haven't had to-- but we haven't placed any information on this site about where to get modchips, how to install them, or how to use one to hack Halo-- and it's for a simple reason.
While the guys and gals at Bungie may get a kick out of watching what hackers come up with, they have corporate mast.... I mean, business associates they deal with on a regular basis that take a less than humorous view of what's been done to the Xbox.
While Rampancy does sometimes carry stories about how the Xbox doesn't sell as well as the PlayStation, we're not essentially a fansite that's hostile to the company that makes the games we're fans of.
You can most likely find exactly what you're looking for by plugging a few words into Google. If you manage to create some interesting effects by hacking Halo, you're more than welcome to discuss them here-- to take requests, post images, etc etc. But respect for Bungie and the constraints they are likely under constrains us from becoming an Xbox Hack site-- sorry.

I know. To be completely honest, I don't even know.
I admit, it's been tempting to think about hacking my Xbox with all the stuff I've seen BOLL do (and the stuff I've seen Frogblast do that I'd NEVER be able to do without hacking :)
But since I have only one Xbox and an XBL account, I'm wary that eventually MS will detect these hacks and keep me off XBL. So as a result, I decided not to hack my xbox, and haven't researched where to get such chips.
However, there are some xbox hacking sites-- like I said, putting a few words into Google will probably do the trick.
