Destiny ViDoc - Pathways Out of Darkness 0404

Here we see a screen very familiar to Halo players-- a gameplay screen overlaid with a party list. Three out of a possible six players are in the party, which is joinable. Level 6 Halcylon and level 12 Deej will be sure to blame level 16 Stoshy for anything that goes wrong. The higher level Stoshy, we assume, is the one with the more impressive and cleaner-looking spaceship in the middle.

To the left is what appears to be a list of gameplay hoppers.

The first "The City" may be a safe area for trading, preparation and socialization. It's labeled "Home".

This appears to be a Destiny character profile for the player character "halcylon" being displayed on an iPhone emulator.

halcylon has 1790 of something-- perhaps a rank or accrued experience.

Across the bottom of the screen appear to be some RPG-like player attributes-- energy, shields, agility and discipline.

Here we see Destiny's mobile integration, with a screen that shows us Chapter 3 of Book 1, a mission called "Gain favor with the Queen" which apparently occurs at the Venus Destination, at a location called the Shores of Time.

The last note, "Help the Crow loot the Academy Archive" might be a side mission or optional objective.

There's no clear indication what the numeral "18" next to the Destiny tricorn symbol means-- perhaps a current player rating, or points accrued, or friends currently online, or a point reward for completing the offered mission.

... to reach players in ways that we really haven't before, we're really going to make a conscious effort to build an experience which is going to be meaningful for people. How do you keep a player going for 50 or 100 hours over some number of months and to not just want to play the game, but want to play it with their friends.
