If you absolutely must do everything in a game (sidequests, mini-games, etc.) then prepare to enjoy the GTA series. The storyline is somewhat compelling, although not to the extent of most RPG's. The gameplay is fun but challenging, and it's freeform ability is by far the best feature. Expect to screw up dozens of times on different missions before learning the easy way to accomplish them. Other times expect blind luck to guide you best. Overall the games are amazingly fun and enjoyable. I would say that they are one of the few games I will enjoy playing again, even after I completed both of them with 100% done.
