Hi everyone,

Louis (CE) Wu mentioned that I had created some custom gametypes which he is putting into the mix on the gamedaemon server. I just wanted to make it clear that there are several that are not mine as well; likely some very good ones as well as some lame ones (heck, the same can may be said of mine too). I just didn't want any of the creators of the various gametypes playing to be offended and think that I was being credited for all of them. Such is not the case.

Another point I should make is that I never thought about making any gametypes until I encountered some very fun ones online. Bottom line, whether you are a Halo newbie like me (sort of) or a veteran; I encourage you to make more.

See ya!

All of the gametypes that were NOT created by you are mine (with the exception of 2 that Miguel made). Nobody's gonna get offended. :)

Oh, yeah, and targetpractice belongs to mnemesis. :)

One of these days, I hope to find time to actually DOCUMENT what's running - when I do, your maptypes will be credited to you explicitly.

Heheh,

One of you is a sadist at heart: team slayer and everyone invisible. That one got me. :-)

Thanks again!

You should all try playing "Catch"

It's really fun but totally hard to play. Because everyone needs to play along. Best levels for it are Sidewinder, Timberland, and Blood Gulch. Here's how to play.

Set to No shields, Inf Grenades, and Pistols.

Then have one person designated the thrower go and stand on one of the Bases in any of the levels and throw a plasma as high into the air as you can. While everyone else runs around out in the open and tries to get tagged by the grenade. The Winner is the one who dies by the grenade the most. There are more fun version like Rocket Catch, Which you fire a rocket from one side of the level and everyone tries to jump and get hit by it. All are fun. But hard to do as well. Because it requires everyone to get along and enjoy it.
