This is a redo or the 100% SECRETS that I posted a short time ago. Last night while playing the Silent Cartographer I discovered something new which was so simple it must have been found before. At the end of the level after the covee drop ship drops off the stealth Elites, instead of interring the human drop ship (ending the level) I instead followed the covenant drop ship to see where it goes. The drop ship lands in the central point of the island where you fought the two Hunters, it unleashes a pack of Jackals for you to fight.
WHY WASN’T THIS ON MY LIST!! Thank you to every one who wrote something but I wanted everything. Following is a list of everything I know so far pleassse add every thing you know that isn’t there:

No problem. There aren't a lot of Bungie sites with blogs, so I'm not surprised when there are a few wrinkles using them. It's really more for personal diaries than forum discussions.
Anyway, regarding the dropship and the Jackals-- I think if you try again, you'll notice that this is what happens when you head straight for the security station, jump off the cliff, and then proceed to the map room.
What's supposed to happen, is you're supposed to get to the map room first (since it lies ahead of you and you'r facing that way), then go to the security station.
If you do that, the dropship drops off those Jackals then. And if you had walked BACK from the security station the way you came-- instead of jumping down-- you'd have to fight them.
Another interesting thing is that, after having completed the level, you walk up to the security station, the dropship will stay there and fire at you-- but only if you fire first.
Once you cross the midpoint of that area, it will take off.
If you had approached it from the security station side, it would have taken off almost immediately. But when you come from the other side, it will stay there quite calmly as you slaughter the Jackals.
