Though I spent alot of time trying to get the notes right for the guitar parts, I had some trouble with the beginning section and i feel that some of the electric guitar parts throughout could sound better, so I'm open to any suggestions to make it closer to the real song

Hey everyone, sorry but I don't know how to write music in tabs. Earlier I said that I would have a tabs translation up as soon as possible. However, when I said that, I was operating under the assumption that I could copy and paste the notes into tab form and upload it as a seperate file, unfortunately I found that I am unable to do so with the programs that I have. If anyone here on the site knows how to translate notes into tabs, and wants to do so, feel free to translate what I've written and send it to me and I will upload it here. Otherwise, I apologize but I don't know of a way to write tabs without learning how to write tabs. - Mike

I have transcribed the majority of this piece. (from the beginning of the song to the percussive section that can also be heard in the first "Halo 3 Live Action Short")

This song can be heard during the second half of the level "The Ark" in Halo 3.

If possible I will later finish the song and add the part that is heard during the scene with the waterfall in the background, when the Chief finds the cartogropher

The finale mus. file is somewhat distorted. To be able to see it clearly click (ctrl+E)while in finale, this should change the sheetmusic to scroll view, giving better definition.

This song can be heard during the cut-scene between "The Storm" and "Flood Gate" in halo 3

However this song is mostly known by the title "Finish the Fight" from Halo 3's E3-06 trailer

* I have completely rewritten my earlier transcription, adding a few new instruments as well as the "Finish the Fight" ending. My original never really had the powerfully epic feel that the real song has. I have worked quite a bit on these revisions and I hope they deliver a much better representation of this great song.

(I will keep the original mp3 file up just as a means of contrast. But I am going to delete the mus file and pdf to help avoid confusion)

This song is from Halo Combat Evolved, and is, in my opinion, one of the best songs in the Halo trilogy.

The percussion parts are what makes this song great, and I've tried my best to transcribe them in addition to the other instruments.
