I'm sorry if you're reading this in hopes of finding some giant incite I made into the universe of Halo.

This personal blog is just that, a personal blog. It's not meant to be replied to (though that'd be fun) and is more of a way of explaining where I've been. after all, my giant fan base has been feeling lost in my absence....that's a joke, I was hardly worth remembering.

*takes the stage in front of a mostly uninterested audience*

I wish I could say I was off traveling the world, or that the work load of being a junior/senior in HS had become too much. but in reality nothing actually changed. Myth slowly faded as availability of a computer became slightly less. I got addicted (again) on the stupid game that is Star Craft, which lasted just long enough to completely wipe all Myth playing from my life.

the forum following, unfortunately died shorty after. and with the release of Halo, and the purchase of an xBox, the fun ranting and raving also went the way of the dino.

short spurts of time on the computer got turned into internet chats on AIM and MSN as my social life took over. the return of a decent sport last spring, soccer, further killed any activity and ability to think while on the computer. also a Flash animation class kept me busy.

summer no longer involved 6 hour spurts of Myth and HL visits. it involved a job, and people...real people, in a physical form. and the sunshine, some of you may not now about this sun thing, but It's not as bad as everyone makes it out to be.

Through it all rampancy.net has remained my home page.the question of whether I was trying to force myself to stay current in recent events, or because I was too damn lazy to change it, still goes unanswered in my own brain. the forum seems far from the old rampant activity that it used to hold back in the months that followed The Core, but still there is life.

Why I now think I'll be able to return is beyond me. soccer starts again in two week. work will pick up again with a possible second job at The Mac Shack. social life has doubled, and I now have my first girl friend
*thinks maybe he hears a slight monotone yay somewhere in the back*
and Halo parties are still big.

So here I am, at least for now. and where time will take me next, only God knows.

Here's to the Bungie community, in all its forms. And to all its members young and old, new and former!
