This is the theme that you hear as soon as you find Cortana. In the file it will show parts for the violin, cello, and of course the piano.

UPDATE:I have changed a few errors, added some missing notes and adjusted the tempo of the song. By the way, the tempo is 120 for an eight note. I haven't quite figured out how to show that on the page so if any one knows then please let me know.

Note: I have the violin and cello's midi set as string ensemble to sound much more like the original piece. If you would like to play it normally, click "window" at the top of the page and select instrument list. You can change the sound from there.

This is the remembrance theme from Halo 3. I modified it a little to my satisfaction. So it is basically the way I play it. For the most part it is actually the same thing except for an added part in the middle. It is for the piano only and is played with cords. Hello everybody, its been a good month or 2 since I have been on the site and i have a couple new transcriptions to post. Problem is things have changed and I dont know how to do that know. If you are interested in what I am posting they are: the halo 3 menu music featuring the Unfogotten theme, and the first half of the announcement trailer from e306. The Unforgotten themes timing isnt correct but the notes are the right ones. If you want to view them then let me know how to post them.

Hey everyone. I know I have been out for a while but have managed to squeeze in some spare time. Anyway, I just listened to Devin's latest transcription. And I got to tell you it sounds GREAT! No joke! Devin I think you have outdone yourself on this one. I have not recently made any new halo transcriptions because I have been working on Gears of War. In my opinion..... The only game that would beat GoW is Halo 3. Other than that nothing stands a chance. In case you were wondering. I just finished the final version of the Mad World trailer to Gears of War. I even included the lyrics.... But as for halo I have sort of toyed with the beginning and got some of the notes. That is all I have to say for know and what do you think the achievements will be for halo 3? Example: Spartan-Complete the game on Legendary Difficulty (30 points). Or maybe multiplayer achievments like: Killing spree-kill 5 people without dying (10 points).

Ok first of all I have recently found out that I will have a lot of free time after all, thus I will still be on this site a lot.

Anyway moving on to the subject. There have been several requests about a transcription for the halo 3 cg trailer's background music. Well I was not able to make it out so clearly but I can tell you that it is only the first part of the halo 1 main theme played a little faster. And that is that.

Another thing. If anyone has any question about the halo 2 main theme then leave a comment here. I do not know why but (for me at least)we are not able to leave comments in that area. The pdf will be coming soon when ever Narcogen decides to post it. But no need to rush him, he deserves a break. After all he is the only staff member left that we have contact with.

UPDATE: The halo 2 pdf is up, and the halo 1 version of siege of madrigal is now in the sheet music section.

Also if you have been able to view the H2MT, the notes are not wrong. I just put it in C minor but you could move them up to E if you want to. If you have no idea how and want it in E position then email me and i'll send it to you. And if you do not want to wait for the pdf to be submitted here then again send me an email and I will send it to you. That is all on that topic.

UPDATE: I just got a call from my cousin today saying that he just read an xbox official magazine. In it he saw an article about halo 3. It has a confirmation that bungie will put dual swords in halo 3. Although I personally have not seen the article, he has told me that he will email me a pic of the page and then i'll submitt it here if it is true.

Halo 3 will have dual swords??? Or is it just another thing that your teammates can do that you cant (dive,wallcover,hit without droping weapon when dualweilding, etc.). I recently watched the new brute documentary video on halo 3.

About half way throught the documentary ( right after the part where the brute rams the marine in the wall ) you see an elite DUALWIELDING swords dodge an attack then kills the brute. Will we be able to do this, or like I said at the top??? Is it something only our teammates can do??? OR is it just something that was put on the video???

Also there are more rumors going around the net. Now I have read that not only will you be able to dualwield swords, but dualwield a gun (ex. plasma rifle) and the sword at the same time. This would be an excellent combination. If this rumor is true. It would give a certain advantage over a brute. You could easily shoot them until they go beserk (assuming they still do) then when they charge you could finish them off with your sword.

I am also hearing rumors that anyone without a shield will be killed in one hit by the sword depending on where you hit them. As you can see from the pic above, a cut to the leg or arms will only cut them off and leave the foe imobilized. But a direct cut to the chest??? One hit kill. But because of these new feats the sword will most likely be harder to find in the game and have less energy/ammo to use (accept for multiplayer).

People have been asking what is the use of dualwielding swords, and saying that it would only be useful if you can lunge in two directions.I dont know the true reason why it would be much more useful but here is what I think:

What if you can only lunge with one sword. Have you ever noticed when you lunge at an opponent your hand stays in the air and it takes a while before you can attack again? Well, maybe when you dualwield swords you can lunge and while your doing the uppercut you can defend yourself at the same time with the other sword rather than just being a sitting duck after you do an uppercut. So there is something that might be useful when you dualwield swords.

If the Halo 3 final boss battle were to be The Arbiter vs. Master Chief, who would you want to play as?

Everyone has been discussing about halo 3"s boss battle at the end of the game( if there is one ). I have heard that you could be fighting gravemind and cortana, or even another brute leader. Some say that you will fight the prophet of truth. But after reading the blog HALO 3 On-line Co-Op. I decided to leave a comment on the covenant human alliance( human covenant alliance), and after looking over my comment I realized that what if the arbiter and the Master Chief become more of foes then friends.

Even though the arbiter had to work along side MC and johnson to find the index and defeat tartaurus. I doubt the arbiter really likes the MC because he wiped out his honor in the first place. That and I dont think MC would approve of working with an elite that he has been fighting for many years now.

What I am trying to get at here is that what if the final boss battle in Halo 3 would be a face off between The Master Chief and The Arbiter. The only question is if you play as both of them then how would it work out if they had to fight eachother??? So if this was the final battle. We would get to choose who we play as....or we would not get to play as the arbiter at all.

I was just looking at some of the old tips and tricks back then and they discussed the same thing over and over, I mean they had to make an archive for THE GOLDEN WARTHOG that everyone keeps fussing about. Well if you havent figured it out yet theres no such thing in the game. I can tell you how to get an invincible warthog but not a golden one. Anyway I dont know if you knew this already or not but to go in to ease down position just press down on the directional pad. To get out of it press down again, melee, or shoot. Anybody else know a trick that hasnt been mentioned before???

Note: to actually see yourself go into ease down position. You need another player to look at you.

Another note: this has no effect on the game at all. But if your taking pics at home then this gives ya a nice pose.
